Iftar
Baitul Aman Masjid arranges Iftar meals for approximately 500 brothers and sisters for the entire month of Ramadan.
During this time there is a small discussion on in regards to the significance of fasting in order to develop everyone’s Taqwa.
This is beneficial for both brothers and sisters of all ages.
Taraweeh
During the month of Ramadan, Baitul Aman Masjid provides Taraweeh prayer starting momentarily after Isa salah.
During the Taraweeh prayers the Qu’ran is recited from beginning to end over the 30 (sometimes 29) days.
Quaimul Lail (NIGHT Prayer)
Inshallah Quaimul Lail (Night Prayer)bInshallah Qiamul Lail (in English refers to Night Prayer) will start from the end of the second week of Ramadan till the 29th. Qiamul Lail refers to the act of waking up at night and performing prayer other than the obligatory prayer.
Allah says in the Holy Qur’an,
“And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.” (Hud: v.114)
